MY STORY

Morgan Gliedman is a writer, mother, and advocate for individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder. Her roles in the addiction field have included Vice President of Patient Engagement at Addiction Policy Forum, and Overdose Fatality Review Coordinator at the Baltimore City Health Department.

 

A native New Yorker, Morgan graduated from New York University with a concentration in creative writing. She became passionate about harm reduction and criminal justice reform after her own journey with heroin addiction and recovery, as well as a highly publicized, shit show of an arrest for weapons possession in 2012 when she was nine months pregnant with her daughter.
